…and life. Is. Good!

Date Night
So Much to Say
Just shooting the breeze with Daddy before bedtime Sunday night:
Always Happy to See Her Mom
Me Time in LA
These Two
Work
I know it doesn’t look like it, but THIS is my work:
I’m getting paid to be in Los Angeles and attend the NHL All-Star game, as well as a handful of other awesome events surrounding it. I also had the “burden” of taking my favorite client (works at the NHL League office) and his nephew out to dinner at Soho House in West Hollywood on Saturday night. But rest assured I would trade it all if it meant I could just be home with my sweet husband and our precious baby… they are my everything. 🙂
Pre-Flight FaceTime
Week 24
Debbie put me in charge of taking a picture for 24 weeks. Unrelated, we sometimes play a game with GG where we repeatedly stack up soft blocks and let her knock them down. I tried explaining to Georgia that this is not that game. She disagreed. So I set up the blocks, tried to distract her, and took a quick picture. She outsmarted me every time, about a thousand times. I’m tired, I’m hungry, I tried…(this is only a small sample of the pictures)
Hello, Brooklyn!!!!!!!!!!!
Here We Go Again
This time, it’s Los Angeles for 72 hours. Downside: I’m going to miss the two family-time-filled days of the week I live for. Upside: there will be plenty of opportunities to FaceTime and I know Dave will send me lots of pictures.
Just how much planning goes into 72 hours away for a breastfeeding, traveling, working mom, you ask? This much:
For those of you Nervous Nellies out there, don’t worry, I eventually figured out my all-star and plane outfits.
The Baby in the Bathroom
Part of our nightly ritual includes saying hello to the adorable baby waiting for us in the bathroom every time we visit. Georgia Grace is always so excited to see her… we smile, say hello, and make funny sounds and faces. It is the sweetest part of my day. Related: Gigi’s mama is a terrible photographer.
