Airport Culture: Charlotte Edition
How amazing are these t-shirts? I want them ALL:
My personal favorite:
Meanwhile at Starbucks, they were selling “bagels”:
GTFO and get me back to New York!
M&Ms, Her Crew, and Cozy PJs…
…and a blue tongue to top it all off!!!
My Loves
They’re on their way to Cleveland while I travel to Charlotte for NBA All-Star weekend. I love them soooo much.
Our Little Bobby Soxer
Daddy
He sure was sweet to his girls on Valentine’s Day. He brought home roses and candy for all three of us: Gigi, Chandra, and me! Gigi LOVED giving Chandra her presents. The last picture is my fav 🙂
V-Day Loot
She waited all day for her Dada to get home so she could inspect her loot.
Our Little Activist
“No trees, no cuddles.”
She’s acting out a scene from Fancy Nancy, in which the neighborhood kids are protesting (via their withholding of cuddles) the adult-implemented rule that kids can’t climb on the neighborhood oak tree. Start ’em young standing up for their beliefs, I guess.
Throw Back Thursday at School
Debbie stayed home from work today and helped Gigi get ready for “throw back Thursday” at school – they asked the kids to dress in the style of a past decade:
Working Mama
I had work events every night this week (except Valentine’s Day, of course!), so we spent a lot of time connecting via FaceTime. This particular night, Gigi was playing dress up with her “farmer’s hat” and water shoes.

G’s latest:
Queen Elsa
Can you tell we’re really into dress-up and playing make believe?? Today, Gigi and I went on a little ‘girls’ trip’ with Alice and her mom, Laura, to see Frozen at Soho House. Georgia Grace dressed for the occasion:
Wrapped around Gigi’s little finger…
Fancy Nancy
When Grandmother gave Gigi a Fancy Nancy dress-up outfit, she had no clue who Fancy Nancy was. Fast forward six weeks, and Fancy Nancy has become Gigi’s hero. She loves the books, the show, and, most importantly, the outfits. The last photo below is my favorite. She told me she was “using her computer.”
