Light at the End of the Tunnel
We are living through a global pandemic, and finally, finally, it seems there is light at the end of the tunnel. There are data-backed reasons for optimism; add a little sunlight, and it feels like the dawn of a new day.
We are all so happy today. There are so many gifts to celebrate.
Bedtime Song Favorites
Gigi LOVES “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and asks for it by name. It is her go-to bedtime song of choice. I find it fascinating because the lyrics are, um, mature. They’re pasted below for kicks.

100 Days More Brilliant!
My sweet girl is celebrating her 100th day of school today in her “100 days more brilliant” shirt. We had so much fun making it together and she and i both love the finished product. Side note: she is up to speed on both meanings of the word “brilliant” and puns in general. 🙂
Her school sent these pictures today. My instinctive reaction was an urge to text her and ask how her day is going… isn’t that funny? She’s our little buddy.
