Papa to the Rescue!
Josefina is in Peru and Dave is in Florida, so Papa Bob is stepping up to the plate! He and G are having an absolute blast together. He’s taken her to school, ballet, the park, on a play date, church, the diner, Target, Whole Foods, and probably ten other places I don’t know about.
PAPA’S HERE!
He picked her up from school on Monday and she couldn’t have been more excited. These two buddies are having a ball!
Self-sufficient
She’ll be driving a car before we know it.
Cindy the Rowley
I showed my little fashionista videos from Cynthia Rowley’s show and she was very pleased to see hair bows — her signature accessory — on the runway. Side note: she refers to CR as “Cindy the Rowley.” May that never change.
Sick Day
Her tummy hurts and I’m her Mama. ❤️
Neighbors!
City life sure can feel a lot like college dorm life for kids:)
I Can Write My Name!
Sick Day
Gigi’s home with a stomach bug so she’s watching an imaginary performance of The Nutcracker ballet on a shoebox — she told me she’s “imaginationing it’s a television.” It is positively fascinating how uniquely herself she’s become.
Separate hut related, Dave spent $19 to buy her the full score of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker. His justification was that “our toddler is staring at a cardboard box and listening to classical music.” Good point.
Brave
This brave little lady had her tonsils and adenoids checked by an ENT doctor today. What does that entail? Pretty much everything you’d expect along with a back of the nose and throat inspection, accomplished by running an endoscope through her nostrils and into her throat. She didn’t even flinch. I am in constant awe of her maturity and bravery, and I wonder if she will ever be able to comprehend just how proud of her I am.
