We spent Saturday afternoon at the park; Gigi insisted on wearing her jellies:

Girls’ Night In
Gigi’s dada went out with some friends, and since the two of us weren’t feeling well, we decided to put on our PJs and snuggle up in bed.
Mama Shoes
“It’s an airplane.”
Nailed It
The girls were challenged with a new solo today — Gigi nailed it! So proud of our little ballerina.

Sunday Nights on Reade Street
We love our little community in this big city. Somehow, right in our building, and right on our floor, just four doors down, we’ve found the perfect friends for our little family. This Sunday, Jack and Alice stopped by to play with Gigi. I spent the time cooking while the dads entertained the kids and themselves:)
The apartment got oddly quiet at one point, and Joe whispered for me to come see what was happening. I was shocked that the content little crew didn’t even look up at the camera… they were 100% in the moment:
Saturday Morning Solo!
Giuliana
We are SO lucky to have our friends Brian and Trish, and their sugary sweet daughter, Giuliana, in our building. The girls aren’t even two weeks apart in age, and have had consistent play dates since they were babies. Giuliana and Gigi just adore one another. This Thursday, when I returned home from my work trip to Arizona (Ari-JOAN-a, as Gigi says), I surprised Georgia Grace at school and brought her home. In our building entryway, we ran into Giuliana:
Ballet
Peanut Butter Sandwich
“How do you want me to cut your sandwich — square or triangle?”
“Make it round, Mama.”
Frozen
ABCs (with her “microphone”)
Expensive Taste
Gigi’s really been into wearing my shoes lately.
