Sunshine and Sweet Friends

After having been apart for two years (due to all things pandemic), we made plans to visit our friends, the Hahn family, in 30A. The first few days of our visit were so much fun! Gigi and Charlotte picked right up where they left off, and were the best of friends doing absolutely everything together: they played, danced, scooted, went to the park, and even took tennis and hip-hop lessons together. 30A was absolutely gorgeous and our friends, Dana and Robert, were the best hosts. Everything was JUST FINE until I started feeling sick. A couple of days into our trip, morning sickness set in, and it didn’t let up the entire time we were there (and long after we got home, for that matter). So, while everyone went out and enjoyed one another’s company in a gorgeous setting, I slept in the guest room. I felt awful for not being a good house guest, but I truly couldn’t get out of bed. Despite my illness, Gigi had such a great time, and she and Charlotte made memories that I hope will last forever.

On our way home a little early (again, all my fault), so sad to leave before expected, but we made the most of it, and Charlotte was so sweet to join us for the car ride to the airport.
Another lost tooth! It practically fell out in the car.
