We made it! (and Amorino)

It has been A WEEK! Gigi got sick, we had a Covid scare (ended up being negative, thank goodness!), work was crazy for me, and work was even crazier for Dave. Dave worked late a couple nights and Gigi stepped up and really helped care for Eloise. As a reward, I promised Gigi that, on Saturday, I’d take her for her first “rose ice cream” from Amorino in the Village. Well, today, I made good on my promise, and, thank goodness, the experience didn’t disappoint. Gigi loved watching Chloe make her ice cream so much! So much love for my sweet, happy, loving girl and I’m so grateful for our time together.

Ps – I ate A LOT of Amorino when I was pregnant w Gigi. My fav was their chocolate hazelnut flavor. Chloe gave me a sample today and it brought me waaaay back.

Gigi’s First Day of Second Grade

Fall Capsule

I put so much effort/time/money into Gigi’s fall/back-to-school wardrobe that I was feeling SUPER guilty for not getting anything new for Eloise (who could truuuuly use some clothes — she’s getting big fast!)… so I was thrilled when I stumbled into a few coordinating ‘pieces’ at Target today. I got two pairs of leggings, two tops, a pair of “jeans,” and a knit romper. I just need a lightweight outer layer and her mini fall capsule wardrobe will be complete! 🙂

OH MY GOURD… FALL IS HERE!

We’re all so excited! Bring on the apple picking, Halloween costumes, and cozy cardigans!

Stopping By

Dave had the girls in the playroom while I went to the gym. A few minutes into my Pilates workout, Gigi stopped in and said, “I can’t stay long — I just came by to say hi.” Dave called to her but she wouldn’t leave until I told her how much time was left in my workout. I absolutely adore her.

Bubble Gum and Jello

Gigi had never tried bubble gum OR Jello, so we made today the day. She enjoyed both but much preferred bubble gum to Jello. I don’t know that she’ll be frequenting either, but it was fun to watch her experience them!

Big Sis
