Bedtime
It was a long day for this little girl, so she didn’t put up a fight when it was time for her bedtime routine. Bath, pull-up, PJs, teeth, three books, two stories, three songs, and she was out.
“Cleaning the Shower”
Normally a bath girl, Gigi took some persuading to convince her to take a post-pool shower. To keep her occupied while I washed her hair, I let her “clean the shower.” Little did I know it would yield so much entertainment for her — she could’ve stayed there HOURS. I will be putting this little trick to use at home!
Sidewalk Gelato at 830pm
City summers are the absolute best. We took a family stroll, enjoyed dinner at Rosemary’s, and wrapped it all up with some sidewalk gelato. It was equal parts simple and magical — as with many things in this great big city we are fortunate to call home.
Magnolia Bakery
We celebrated this summer Sunday with a trip to Magnolia Bakery and the park. Gigi ordered TWO different chocolate cupcakes: one with rainbow sprinkles and another with blue sprinkles. Girlfriend knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to ask for it!
