Memorial Day Weekend!

We spent several hours at Soho House and in the Meatpacking District. It was a gorgeous day… we are so excited for the summer ahead!

Gigi/Mama Day!

For the first time since early March, I was able to leave the apartment and have a fun excursion with my girl! Gigi dressed for the occasion: she wore a tiara and gloves, and carried a wand. We went to a local diner for breakfast (she said the eggs and avocado toast were the best she’d ever had!) and then we went to the park for a bit. After, we grabbed ice cream and headed home. I was EXHAUSTED but so, so happy.

The day was so special to us that we asked a doorman to take a picture to memorialize it!

It’s a girl!

Georgia Grace is so excited to be a big sister and is thrilled to know she’s having a little sister! After spending a few minutes giving updates and answering questions, the celebration began. First, some snuggling/wrestling with Dada, and then it was time to enjoy celebratory (pink!) cupcakes from Billy’s, our favorite/local bakery. We also snuggled up and enjoyed two new books about being a big sister and having a new baby. And then, Gigi was ready to break the news to her family. We called everyone on FaceTime and Gigi shared her news!

School Pick-up!

After so many weeks of not being able to leave the apartment, I was finally able to get Gigi from school. I had to take a car there (and back), but I was able to do it. I was so happy to get her, that I cried when I saw her walk out of the building.
