“My tooth came out!”

Tooth number two came quickly and painlessly, and it’s a good thing, too — her grown up tooth had already come in!

Santa!

It’s been two years and a pandemic, but at long last, Gigi and The Big Guy (she hates when I call him that) were finally reunited. There were zero nerves for her, and she got right down to business, letting Santa know what was on her list: a Clara costume/dress, an elf for Present Lucy Welch, a whistle, a jump rope, and a Duchess (from The Aristocats) stuffed animal. Gigi was especially pleased because Mrs. Claus told Gigi her outfit was one of the best she’d seen yet.

Thanksgiving

Gigi had school so we came to Cleveland two days after Daddy. She was SO EXCITED to see that the airport lounge had new bread… the trip was off to a great start.

Gigi LOVED the Thanksgiving Day parade! She insisted that I take pictures of her in front of certain floats and performances. She didn’t stop dancing, either.

Partying with Dada on Thanksgiving night.
She’s such a lucky little girl. Her family very much prioritized getting Gigi to see Santa the day we left to go home.

Paw Patrol Experience at Hudson Yards

Gigi and I had a blast at the Paw Patrol Experience! On the way there, we met the kindest car driver who told us all about his home country, Egypt. He was so taken by Gigi’s interest for the country, that he gave us a souvenir — a ceramic rendering of pyramids.

See? Pyramids.

On the way home, we had an equally kind driver. He gave Gigi a pain au chocolat!
