Debbie’s Trip to Hong Kong
Pre-flight fun. It’s hard to hear but Gigi is singing in this video.
Presents from Hong Kong
Zip Line
Gigi may not have loved this. And if I didn’t move quickly to get her in, Debbie probably wouldn’t have let me do it.

Halloween Parades and Parties
On Sunday, Gigi and Yaya joined the other thousands of kids who live in Tribeca at the Washington Market Park Halloween parade. Afterward, the three of us walked to Battery Park City where we met Gigi’s friend, Caroline, and her parents, Meredith and Andy. We celebrated at a Halloween party with the other kiddos in the building, and then went up to their apartment for a little play date. The girls had a blast — I wish I’d taken more pics!
After the party, we met Gigi’s buddy, Chris Hedge, for dinner at Reade Street Pub. I’m hoping dave will post pics — these are the only ones i have.

Birthday #37
We celebrated a few hours late since I was in HK on my actual birthday, but this sweet moment made the wait well worthwhile. Love them so much.
The Universal Love Language…
…a heavy f*cking pour. God bless you, Hong Kong. This is gonna be a great birthday week. (Not pictured: my cheese plate. Or the Muzak version of Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me,” which is presently playing in the background.

Halloween Costume Fashion Show!
Before I left the apt this am, I told Gigi we’d have a fashion show when I got home from work. She was equal parts excited to see her costume and learn a magical new phrase, “fashion show.”
It’s pretty clear which costume she loved most (and hated most — she couldn’t wait to get that puppy off her!), but we had such a blast playing dress up in the process.
Pure Joy
All the Books; All the Pups
She carried these puppies all over the store, and then asked to bring them home. Luckily, her Yaya is allergic.
Big City, Small World
We ran into Gigi’s best friend, KK, at Barnes and Noble this morning. It was all kinds of adorable.
