Daddy
She sure gets a kick out of him. This was at breakfast this morning — he was telling us how he kept falling asleep while putting Gigi to bed last night. Such a happy start to a Tuesday!

Mimi!
Mimi was kind enough to take a long drive to spend time with Gigi. Gigi was super excited to see her and wanted to snuggle right away
Mimi and I got stuck in a rain storm. Wasn’t so bad at first… We got “tickets” to an NBA game…
Mother-Daughter Day
Gigi and I had a DAY! While Dave spent the day driving to and from Cleveland, Gigi and I got out and made the city our playground. We mailed a birthday card to Gigi’s Great Great Aunt Dell in Tennessee, and then headed out into the world. We played at two parks, shopped at two toy stores, stopped by a community garden, had lunch, said hello to our friend Micah, and then topped the whole thing off with macarons and gelato at Laduree.
Startled and Suspicious
These words are two recent additions to my toddler’s vocabulary. She uses them often and appropriately, and it makes me laugh every time.

Giuliana
After months of only playing with adults, we finally expanded our pandemic bubble to allow for Gigi to have a play date with her friend, Giuliana. These girls have known one another since they were babies, so it was really special to give them time together. The grown ups — although six feet apart — had a great time, too.
